Visit Newport Mansions
During the Gilded Age, America’s wealthiest families flocked to the City by the Sea and its surrounding areas; making the area their summertime playground. The meticulous preservation of more than a dozen of these homes gives us intimate access to the artistry, personality, and complex culture that went into these colossal time capsules.
The Cliff Walk along the eastern shore of Newport, RI is world famous as a public access walk that combines the natural beauty of the Newport shoreline with the architectural history of Newport's gilded age. Wildflowers, birds and geology all add to this delightful walk.
